on my old ride i did the same with 3M scotchlite reflective tape, like yours. cranks, all metal, fork and rack, stem. cost maybe $15 for the whole bike.

there are companies that make entire "tube wrappers" but i like the color of my silver and gray bike and can't find anyone who makes clear reflective tape.
