This is a COVERT PROTEST for all the times a messenger has suddenly become unsightly in an office building lobby because they're taking 5 minutes to do paperwork, collect thoughts or just keep dry from the elements. Wearing a suit on this day is basically meant to mock the fact that most concierges and security guards wouldn't bat an eye if a messenger was conducting the same activities during the same five minute span dressed in a suit. WEARING A TEE SHIRT OR A BIKE JERSEY WITH A SUIT & TIE PRINT IS VERY ACCEPTABLE & EQUALLY REPRESENTS THE CAUSE!! My wish is that this becomes a truly global event that folks can have fun with despite the seriousness of the message. Holla!!
